  I recently had a problem with the a/c at a rental property I own. I got 3 estimates. The first two a/c companies told me the entire a/c unit needed to be replaced, a/c coils and compressor. One estimate was $2,900, the second was $3,400. When the technician from Tropical Air looked at the unit he told me that all I needed was to have the coils cleaned and that the compressor was fine. Total cost of repair $330.00 and it's running great.
