  I’ve been Dr.Cardenas’ patient for over a year now and the multiple times I’ve visited his office I’m disappointed with the experience. A year ago he ordered me a $500 night guard to help with my TMJ and it only aggravated the pain. When I told him the problem he only said “oh well it doesn’t work”. I was extremely disappointed that he made me waste my money and didn’t even care if I improved or not. He truly doesn’t care about his patients. I recently got another pain located in my cheek and we called to ask if that was something he treated. He said to come in and when I did he simply ignored the current pain I’m having and talked about the TMJ I used to have (was cured no thanks to him). Then when I told him to focus on my current pain I was feeling he said “I’ll send U to an ENT but still come back for a follow up” HE SIMPLY WANTS TO MAKE MONEY OFF ME. DO NOT COME TO THIS DOCTOR SAVE YOUR MONEY GO TO SOMEONE WHO CARES.

  After suffering for more than a year and no answers from any other doctors, I found Dr. Payton. He has literally changed my life! Unfortunately, I did have to have arthroscopic surgery, but, Dr. Payton did an amazing job and now my life is back to normal. Most importantly I'm pain free, thanks to him and his wonderful staff!
